Four stories of silly hippo friends: In the first story, "The Fibber," George tells a fib to impress Martha, who does something to prove that George isn't telling the truth. George confesses. The whole thing is short and very real-life and funny. Its gentle humor shows by example how people (in this case, hippos) behave and how to act when a friend lies to you. The other stories are equally warm and funny and wonderful.
