This book is a collection of the mild and enjoyable adventures of Ann and Andy. The stories are all about friendship, mutual assistance and helping each other through difficulties. What evil creatures there are do not do anything that would be scary to a young child. One can characterize them as more misguided than evil and generally they recognize in the end how wrong their actions were.
