As "the keystone of our religion," in Joseph Smith's words, the Book of Mormon is high priority reading. Naturally it is read with varying degrees of understanding. This suggests that most of us could benefit by some aid to that understanding. In offering such aid, this commentary focuses on the most significant aspect doctrine.
