His biographer was his sister Eliza Snow, who was poet by temperament and talent. Moreover, she has great sisterly insight into the work and soul of the man who was a prophet and also her brother. This volume covers Lorenzo Snow's life, from his first contact with Joseph Smith in Kirtland, OH, his journey with the saints across the plains, to his missionary labors in England and Italy. There is considerable attention paid to Snow's work with the United Order in Brigham City.
