Eighty-two years in the school of life have so leavened the character of President David O. McKay as to make it synonymous with everything of good report or praiseworthy. The eloquency of his words is sustained in the becoming dignity of his every act. He asks no man to do that which he does not do himself. He is progressive, forward-looking, indomitable. He stands today on an eminence where all the plateaus of life are easily brought into focus before him. The warmth of his greeting, the depth of his friendship, the smile of his approval, and his handshake are succor to the soul.
