When Monty Mouse discovers Hideaway House hidden in its overgrown garden, he and his family decide to move in and make it their new home.  Soon they are joined by many other animals looking for somewhere to live-Sebastina the Barn Owl, Timothy Toad, Racer Rat, Legs the Spider and lots of Baatty Bats all need homes. 

Before long the circle of friends includes the ghost of Hideaway House who becomes hopelessly addicted to Ms Whisker's apple pie.  With all the animals happily settled and living their buy little lives there, Hideaway House changes from being the loneliest place in town to the happiest place for miles around.
