Notes
Also have DVD of the movie Song of Norway, {Dec. 12, 2016} the musical adaptation of the play regarding the early years of Norwegian pianist/composer Edvard Greig. Grieg, initially a rowdy scamp in the 1860's, pined after a lovely girl from a prominent family while trying to get his sonnets published.

He found himself frustratingly without a benefactor or any professional engagements in which to showcase his work; later he married his cousin and barely scraped by giving piano lessons. But gradually his fortunes changed and he is now beloved by all Norwegians. The on-location shooting in Norway and Denmark is quite lovely.
