As the title would indicate, this book examines the war between England and Spain around 1529. This was one of the turning points in history and had things gone a different way, the world as we know it would be a far, far different place.

These books were written for young people from the fifth grade through Jr. High but most adults would also enjoy this read and learn much from it.

Like all the Landmark books the work was meticulously researched and extremely well written. It presents history in a very readable manner and to be quite frank it reads like a novel rather than a history book, i.e. it is a real page turner.

The reader not only gets a good view of the English/Spanish war, but also a good look at life in England and the English Court through reading this book.
