The well-reviewed first novel by the Irish playwright, Maeve O'Callaghan, about a Hungarian family in the days after WWI. Under the pen name, Sheila Fitzgerald, O'Callaghan wrote a handful of novels in the 1930's, but is largely forgotten today.
