Sir Galavant, the "dim-witted noodle head", is so gung-ho on finding a horrible ogre to defeat, that when he does find one he races in without a thought. Clyde, his noble and also fearful steed, sees the foolishness in this but won’t be able to do a thing about it unless he can work up the courage and act… or at least just act.

When Clyde learns of the giant, owl-eyed, ox-footed ogre that his knight is going to fight, he quakes in his hooves. The illustrations are bright and colorful while still being somewhat simplistic giving them a lovable cartoon appearance. The stories have great moral and life lessons told in a fun way.
