Mr. Punnymoon is a railroad engineer who drives a "nice, fat, puffy steam engine". Then one day he's forced to retire and he doesn't know what to do with himself! He misses his engine so he decides to build a miniature one in his workshop. The local children love it and before long he's built a working train that takes the children on trips around the park.
