The movie does a good job of depicting the WWII battle of the North Atlantic between Allied convoy escorts and German U-boats. While there are a couple "Hollywood" moments, the movie generally does a good job showing the difficulties the Allied escorts had trying to protect convoys in the rough North Atlantic seas.
