Strawberry Syrup

1 cup sugar
1 Tb. cornstarch
1/4 tsp cinnamon
2 cups (fresh or frozen) strawberries, roughly chopped
Combine sugar, cornstarch, and cinnamon in saucepan; stir in strawberries. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Cook and stir for 2 minutes or until slightly thickened. Remove from heat and cool slightly. This makes approximately 2 cups of syrup.
