Preheat oven to 425º. Press crust into a 9 inch quiche pan, prick crust, and bake until lightly browned, about 10 minutes. In a large bowl whisk together eggs, milk, salt and pepper. Sprinkle bacon, sausage, ham, green onions, and cheese evenly on top of crust. Pour egg mixture on top. Bake 20 minutes until center is set and a toothpick comes out clean. Cool slightly before serving.
Alternate Version Bake unpricked pastry shell for 5 min at 425. Remove from oven and arrange cheese, bacon, and ham in bottom of shell. Sprinkle with green onion and green pepper. In medium bowl, combine eggs, cream, lemon peel, salt, and dry mustard. Pour evenly over cheese mixture. Bake 325F for 45-55 minutes or until set. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving. Cut into 6 servings. |
