Meat Lovers Quiche

1 9-inch pie crust, unbaked
6 large eggs, well beaten
1/2 cup milk
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp black pepper
4 slices bacon, cooked, crumbled
1 cup cooked ground sausage
1/2 cup diced ham
2 green onions, chopped
1 cup shredded cheese (Swiss, Parmesan, and/or Cheddar)
Alternate Version
1 9-inch pie crust, unbaked
1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
6 slices bacon, cooked, crumbled
3/4 cup cooked ham, minced
2 green onions, chopped
1/2 green pepper, chopped
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1 cup light cream
1/2 tsp grated lemon peel
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp dry mustard
Preheat oven to 425º. Press crust into a 9 inch quiche pan, prick crust, and bake until lightly browned, about 10 minutes. In a large bowl whisk together eggs, milk, salt and pepper. Sprinkle bacon, sausage, ham, green onions, and cheese evenly on top of crust. Pour egg mixture on top. Bake 20 minutes until center is set and a toothpick comes out clean. Cool slightly before serving.

Alternate Version Bake unpricked pastry shell for 5 min at 425. Remove from oven and arrange cheese, bacon, and ham in bottom of shell. Sprinkle with green onion and green pepper. In medium bowl, combine eggs, cream, lemon peel, salt, and dry mustard. Pour evenly over cheese mixture. Bake 325F for 45-55 minutes or until set. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving. Cut into 6 servings.
