Preheat your oven to 350F. Stir in almond extract and flour into purchased cookie dough; probably don’t need the extra flour if you make your own. Divide into 16 equal dough balls (more if using homemade dough). Make a depression in each ball and fill with almonds, 1/2 cherry, and white chips. Gently push the edges up to cover the filling. Roll it back into a ball and then roll in coconut. Place stuffed cookies onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 10-12 minutes until the edges are barely brown. Cool 2-3 minutes and remove from baking sheet onto cooling racks. Store in airtight containers to maintain soft chewiness. |
