Tuna Club Sandwich

2 cans tuna, drained
3 green onions, sliced
1/4 cup chopped dill pickles
1 large celery stalk, chopped
1/3 cup mayonnaise
9 slices cooked bacon
1 ripe avocado, sliced
tomato slices
spinach or lettuce
6 slices bread or croissants
more mayonnaise, if desired
In a large bowl, combine tuna with onions, pickles, celery, mayo, salt and pepper. Mix well. On one slice of bread, place spinach or lettuce, prepared tuna salad, tomato slices, avocado slices and 3 bacon slices. Spread extra mayonnaise on the top piece of bread and top sandwich. Repeat with remaining sandwiches. Serve cold.
