Place all ingredients in crockpot, set it to low, and cook (6 lbs for 8 hours, 2 lbs for 4 hours).
To shred, place the hot chicken into the bowl of an electric mixer. Using the paddle attachment, mix the chicken on medium speed for 20-30 seconds, until the chicken is shredded to your liking. Makes 3-4 cups shredded chicken. May make large batch and freeze in 2-cup pkgs for later meals. |
