Almond Macaroon Brownies

1 18-oz box brownie mix
 
Topping
3 cups flaked coconut
1 cup slivered almonds, toasted
1/4 tsp almond extract
1 can sweetened condensed milk
 
Glaze
1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 tsp vegetable oil
Make brownie mix as directed on box for cakelike brownies. Spread batter in  9x13 pan. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes until toothpick inserted comes out almost clean. Mix topping ingredients. Remove brownies from oven. Carefully spoon and spread topping over brownies. Bake 15 minutes more (topping will not brown). Cool completely, about 1 hour.

Place chocolate chips and 1/2 tsp oil  into quart-size plastic.  Microwave bag on High, stirring every 15-20 seconds, until chips are melted. Cut small tip from corner of bag; drizzle chocolate over topping. Cut brownies into small squares and serve. Cover tightly with plastic or lid.
