White Chocolate Popcorn

9 cups plain popped popcorn
1 12-oz bag M&M's
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup whole almonds
1/4 cup sprinkles
2 11-oz bags white chocolate chips
3 Tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp Kosher salt
Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside. Place popcorn, M&M's, walnuts, almonds and sprinkles in a large bowl and set aside. Melt white chocolate in microwave in 30 second intervals or over a double boiler on the stove. Once white chocolate is melted stir in sugar and Kosher salt. Pour melted chocolate over popcorn mixture and gently stir until combined. Spread mixture on baking sheet until it hardens. Break apart and store in air tight containers.
Notes
If you use a bag of microwave popcorn you'll have plenty of popped popcorn from one bag plus a little extra to munch on. Or use a popcorn maker with 1/2 cup of popcorn kernels which makes more than enough for one batch.
