ZZ Ho Ho Cake

1 box chocolate cake mix

Filling
1¼ cups milk
5 Tbsp flour
1 cup sugar
½ cup butter
½ cup shortening

Chocolate Icing
3 cups powdered sugar
½ cup butter, melted, cooled
3 oz semisweet chocolate, melted, cooled
2 Tbsp milk
2 Tbsp hot water
1 tsp vanilla
Mix together cake mix as directed on pkg and bake in a greased and/or floured 10x15-inch jelly roll pan. Cool to room temperature.

Filling
Combine milk and flour in a small saucepan and cook over low heat, whisking constantly, until the mixture thickens to the consistency of pudding, about 5 to 8 minutes. Set aside and cool to room temperature. Cream together sugar, butter, and shortening on medium speed until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes. Add cooled flour mixture and beat on high 7 minutes. Spread on the cooled cake and refrigerate until set.

Chocolate Icing
In a large bowl, mix together Icing ingredients on medium-high speed until creamy and smooth. Spread over the filling on the cake and serve. Cover leftovers with plastic wrap and refrigerate.

Notes
Ho Ho Cake Roll: turn out cake and roll up, cool completely, spread filling all over and roll back up. Then spread with Chocolate Icing.
