Hot Fudge Sauce

Microwave
1 cup milk chocolate chips
½ cup corn syrup
¼ cup butter
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp vanilla
¼ tsp salt
Stovetop
1 cup butter
3 cups sugar
1/3 cup cocoa powder
1 can evaporated milk
1 tsp vanilla
Microwave
Combine chocolate chips, corn syrup, butter in a glass dish and microwave for 1 minute. Stir well. Add sweetened condensed milk, vanilla, and salt. Blend well and microwave until bubbly (about 1 minute). Stir and serve over ice cream. Refrigerate remaining sauce in an air-tight container. Will keep for several weeks.

Stovetop
Combine butter, sugar, cocoa powder and milk in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Boil 7 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Sauce will thicken as it cools. May be refrigerated and reheated.
