Orange-Glazed Meatballs

Meatballs
1 1/2 lbs ground beef
1/4 cup breadcrumbs
2 Tbsp milk
2 cloves (abt 2 tsp) garlic, finely minced
1-2 tsp minced fresh ginger
2 Tbsp soy sauce
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
2 green onions, finely chopped
Orange Glaze
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup orange juice
1 tsp sesame oil
2 Tbsp rice vinegar
1 Tbsp soy sauce
1/2 Tbsp fresh orange zest
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp grated fresh ginger
1 clove (1 tsp) garlic, finely minced
1 1/4 Tbsp cornstarch
Preheat oven to 475 and lightly grease a mini muffin pan. Combine meatball ingredients in a large bowl and mix until well. Shape into small balls and place into muffin tin. Bake 15 minutes or until cooked through. Immediately spoon meatballs onto a layer of paper towels to drain excess grease.

Orange Glaze Whisk together all ingredients in a small saucepan and bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring often. Cook until thickened. Add salt and pepper to taste. Serve over meatballs.
