Dressing: Whisk together all ingredients and season to taste with salt and pepper. Set aside or refrigerate until ready to use (it can be made several days in advance and refrigerated). In a large bowl, toss together all the salad ingredients except for the chow mein noodles. When ready to serve, pour the dressing over the salad and toss to combine - add the dressing gradually for personal amount. Sprinkle the chow mein noodles or almonds on top and serve immediately. |
