ZZ Hissy Fit Dip

1 lb bulk pork sausage
16 ozs sour cream
8 ozs cream cheese, room temperature
8 ozs Velveeta cut into small cubes
1/2 cup Swiss/Monterrey Jack/Provolone cheese, grated
2 Tbsp minced fresh chives
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp onion powder
½ tsp dried ground sage
Preheat oven to 350F. Spray or grease a 9x9-inch baking dish. In a skillet over medium heat, cook sausage, crumbling it until browned. Remove sausage from skillet with a slotted spoon and place on a paper towel-lined plate. Cool 5 minutes.

Add sausage and remaining ingredients to a medium bowl and stir until blended. Transfer mixture to the prepared baking dish, spreading it into an even layer. Bake 1 hour, or until bubbly and golden brown. Serve warm with tortilla chips, crackers, or veggies.
Advanced Preparation
This dip can be assembled up to 1 day in advance, covered and refrigerated before baking. May add 5 minutes to the baking time until browned and bubbling.
