Cinnamon Roll Casserole

Pecan Topping
1 cup pecans, chopped
1/4 cup flour
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
3 Tbsp butter, melted

Icing from cinnamon roll tube

Casserole
1 Tbsp butter, melted in pan
1 12.4 oz tube cinnamon rolls
2 large eggs
1/3 cup half and half or cream
1 T brown sugar 
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg 
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla 

Pecan Topping
Whisk together pecans, flour, sugar, cinnamon and salt in a medium bowl until evenly combined. Pour in melted butter and stir with a spatula to combine, breaking up large pieces. Cover and refrigerate until ready to use.

Casserole
Preheat oven to 375F. Spread melted butter in a 9×9 baking dish. Place cinnamon rolls in single layer in dish; set aside. In a large liquid glass measuring cup, whisk together eggs, cream, sugar, spices and vanilla until completely combined. Pour egg mixture over cinnamon rolls. You may cover and refrigerate casserole overnight or proceed to bake.

Bake casserole 10 minutes. Remove dish from oven and evenly cover with Pecan Topping. Bake an additional 15-20 minutes or until top of casserole is evenly puffed and center is baked through. Don't overbake. Cool casserole 10 minutes then microwave icing 10-15 seconds or until thin enough to drizzle. Drizzle with desired amount of icing. Serve immediately.
