Parmesan Garlic Rolls

1/2 cup butter
4-5 cloves garlic, minced
2 tsp Italian seasoning
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
20 frozen Rhodes rolls
Version Two (Taste of Home):
1 loaf frozen bread dough, thawed
1 1/2 tsp dried minced onion
3 Tbsp butter
4 garlic cloves, minced
1/8 tsp salt
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp poppy seeds
Place butter, garlic, and Italian seasoning in a microwave-safe dish and heat until melted. Whisk in Parmesan cheese. Place frozen dough balls in a large bowl. Drizzle butter/cheese mixture over dough and toss quickly to evenly coat dough in butter and cheese. Place dough in a 9×13″ pan and allow to rise until doubled (follow the pkg directions). Bake according to pkg directions until rolls are evenly golden on top. Serve immediately.

Version Two Pat out dough on a work surface; sprinkle with minced onion and knead until combined. Divide dough in half. Shape each piece into five balls. to form knots, roll each ball into a 10-in. rope; tie into a knot. Tuck ends under. Place rolls 2 in. apart on a greased baking sheet. In a small skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add garlic and salt; cook and stir for 1-2 minutes. Brush over rolls. Cover and let rise until doubled, about 30 minutes. Brush tops with egg; sprinkle with poppy seeds. Bake at 375° for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
