Place cookies in a large Ziploc bag and crush with a rolling pin. Pieces should be chunky crumbs, not completely fine. Set aside ½ cup crumbs for topping, then transfer remaining crumbs to 9x13 pan. Pour butter over top, moistening all crumbs, then press into an even layer. Refrigerate while the cream cheese layer is prepared.
Cream Cheese Layer In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese on medium speed until light and fluffy, 3 minutes. Reduce speed to medium-low and gradually add powdered sugar until incorporated. Increase speed to medium and beat 30 seconds. Using a rubber spatula, gently fold in 1 tub Cool Whip. Spread in an even layer over the crust. Refrigerate. Pudding Layer In a large bowl, whisk together pudding mix and milk for 2 minutes. Let sit for 5 minutes to set. Spread the pudding in an even layer over the cream cheese mixture. Spread remaining tub of Cool Whip on top and sprinkle with reserved Oreo crumbs. Cover and refrigerate 2 hours before serving. |
