1/2 head green cabbage, shredded
1/2 onion, finely diced
1 large carrot, grated
2 Tbsp chopped chives
1 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup white vinegar
3 Tbsp sugar
salt & pepper, to taste
Version Two
1/2 pepper, coarsely chopped
1 green onion, chopped
1/2 large carrot, chopped
1/8 cup fresh parsley leaves
1/2 cabbage head, shredded
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 tsp seasoning salt
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
2 Tbsp sugar
1/4 tsp lemon-pepper seasoning
1 Tbsp white vinegar
Place cabbage, onion, carrot and chives into a large bowl. In a smaller bowl, stir together mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper. Pour over top of veggies and toss to coat. Store in refrigerator until ready to serve. The longer this sits the better it tastes. Great with Oven Fried chicken.
