Cook pasta according to pkg instructions for "al dente". After cooking, drain and rinse with very cold water. Spread macaroni on layer of paper towels. Pat dry. In a large bowl, combine lemon juice, mayonnaise, sour cream, mustard, salt, pepper, and parsley. Whisk until combined. Stir in cooled and dry pasta until evenly coated. Add relish and onion, stirring to combine.
Prepare all vegetables, then add all remaining ingredients except bacon to bowl with pasta. Stir until all is distributed. Chill 1 hour, up to 24 hours before serving. Before serving, sprinkle crumbled bacon on top. |
