Chicken Cashew Pasta Salad

1 16-oz pkg rotini pasta
4 cups cooked chicken, cubed
1 1/2 cups celery, chopped
3/4 cup green onion, chopped
1 cup seedless red grapes
1 cup seedless green grapes
3/4 cup dried cranberries
1 cup Ranch salad dressing
3/4 cup mayonnaise
2 cups salted cashews
Version Two
1/2 pkg bowtie pasta
1/2 pkg rotini pasta
2 cups cooked chicken, cubed
1 cup celery, chopped
1 cup red grapes
1/4 cup green onion, chopped
1 cup cashews
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup Coleslaw or Poppy Seed dressing
salt & pepper to taste
Cook pasta according to pkg directions. In a large bowl, combine chicken, celery, onions, grapes and cranberries. Drain pasta and rinse in cold water; stir into chicken mixture. In a small bowl, whisk the ranch dressing and mayonnaise. Pour over salad and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Just before serving, stir in cashews.

Version Two  Cook pasta according to pkg directions, then cool. In a large bowl, mix the cooled pasta, chicken, celery, grapes, and green onion. In a small bowl, mix the mayo, dressing, salt and pepper. Stir everything together until well coated. Refrigerate. Just before serving, stir in cashews.
